impromptu

Today is our thesis presentation. Mari (my thesismate) should be the presentor for today. But, because of an unexplained circumstance, she was rushed to the Infirmary. I don't know the exact reason, but since Jerry (my other thesismate) presented first, there is only one choice:Me, presenting an imprmptu presentation.

I haven't felt that way since my impromptu speech way back at my Comm3 class. My ears became so warm, I became all sweaty and panicky, and other chorva things. With less than 2 hours to go, a speech that should be done and practiced for at least a day is crammed to a couple of hours. How exciting! And the flash disk and script is with Mari, Jerry rushed to get it. We became lucky when another group decided to switch presentation times with us, putting us in a 4:30 PM slot instead of the scheduled 3:30. Thanks a lot, how can we ever repay you?

My time came, and my heart is ready to explode. But, learning from my Comm3 class and various speeches, I continued. ALthough I forgot some lines and buckled, It did go very well, better than I've expected being eaten alive by the panelists. The panelists asked few and very answerable questions which made our life a lot easier. I gave a sigh of relief after the presentation. Thank God.

Mari, please be well soon. Magpahinga ka lang dyan. And also to Teejay who lost his cellphone and some money because of a holdapan incident, we are happy you are not hurt. No amount can replace somebody's life. Hehe... XD
